This is a picture of Mac back in the day! Today he is a little wiser than then, never rides without his shirt... Mac has been riding off-road since he can remember, starting on lawn mower mini bikes and working his way up as he got bigger. His dad, el jefe, rode choppers back in the day and so was around biker dudes, since he first popped out into the world. Mac always had the dream of one day owning a motorcycle shop. Back then, you could catch the owners BS'ing about bikes in the garage. That looked like a lot of fun. Now of course, his dream has come true and of course, the BS'ing in the garage has not. Too much work!!! Maybe someday he will retire to the service area and BS!

Connie, Bob's wife, Adam and Jason's mom did not get involved with off-road adventures until she married Bob over 30 years ago. It took awhile, but she finally got into the sport by supporting her kids riding at a young age. It took about 5 years, but she finally got yourself an ATV to ride and then she was hooked! But she wanted more speed, so moved up to a dune buggy for her real thrills. The ATV is gone now, her kids destroyed it for her. But, she still loves to go out to he desert and watch us all ride and to hear our stories of glory and awesomeness... Connie now is the bullhead store manager.

The guy who really started the ball rolling for generations of us to get out and ride. He grew up on a farm and moved to California in the early fifties. El jefe rode with a few motorcycle clubs in the 50's and 60's before having one too many bike versus car duels... So, off to the dirt it was and for that we are all grateful. He instilled into the whole family the love of the desert and off-road adventures. Without his passion for the sport, we might all now be tree huggers chained to trees...

Hi, I am Jason Walton, General Manager of River Rat Motorsports three locations in Kingman, Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City. I started really wanting to ride motorcycles around the age of 7 or 8. My parents did not want to get me a motorcycle to ride until I could tread water for 10 minutes. Why, I still do not know but I didn't care. I wanted a Bike! I hit the pool and started training. My first motorcycle was an XR75 that we still have. After the mellow 4-stroke I jumped up to the 2-stroke RM125 and rode that bike for many years, jumping and all around trail riding. Once I outgrew the RM125 it was onto the YZ250 and those that enjoy the 250 2-strokes know what I am talking about when I say that bike hauled ass! After moving away from home and tackling the real world I grew apart from motorcycles, going to college and trying to make something of myself. The one great thing I cherish about this area of Arizona is that every year, maybe once or twice over a holiday, I would come back to the desert and go for a big family ride. This was extremely important to me because it kept the flame burning inside and allowed me to keep a hold of my childhood dreams of riding all the time. Fast forward to today and I no longer own a car, only a Suzuki Bandit 1250 street bike that I take anywhere I can and will probably never stop riding as long as I live. I am hooked on riding and am fortunate to make a living in the industry that I grew up admiring and loving to the core.
